vinda international secures a hk$300 million sustainability linked loan from china construction bank (asia)-新全讯平台

(18 august 2021 – hong kong) vinda international holdings limited (“vinda international”, which together with its subsidiaries is referred to as the “group”, stock code: 3331), is pleased to announce that vinda international has successfully obtained a hk$300 million long-term loan from china construction bank (asia) (“ccb (asia)”), which was endorsed by an independent assessment report  issued by hong kong quality assurance agency(“hkqaa”), thus becoming hong kong’s first fast moving consumer goods (“fmcg”) company to be granted a sustainability linked loan. the loan proceeds will be used for environmental protection operations to work towards its sustainability performance targets. 

sustainability, being one of the core values of the group, has always been a key focus of vinda international. vinda international has set out a sustainable development roadmap for the next five years, while taking into consideration of the group's development stage, resource planning and technology enhancement, the group is ambitious to uplift its esg performance in eight areas such as energy management, green supply chain, carbon emissions, and sustainable procurement and etc. factors such as the group's development stage, resource planning and best available technology have been holistically considered.
